Dr. Samna Minhas GPR, DDS, BDS

GENERAL DENTIST

Dr. Samna Minhas earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine affiliated with Karolinska Institute, from Karachi, Pakistan. During her clinical and educational training, she ranked third in her batch and graduated with distinctions and honored with the gold medal.

She continued her advancement in dentistry and moved to USA and persued her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from a very prestigious SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, ranked No.7 in the nation and No. 11 worldwide, where she received Deans Commendation during her educational training.

She also got selected for the 1-year minor concentration in OMFS during her last year at Buffalo dental school that further nurtured her skills in oral surgery.

Dr Minhas has a deep-rooted passion for dental surgery which lead her in continuation of her post-graduation General Practice Dental Residency in Clinical Oncology from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, which was ranked as the first institution in the world to focus exclusively on Cancer research.

During her time in the hospital as a Resident Dentist, she gained tremendous experience in advanced surgical exodontia, in treating patients in operating room under general anesthesia and also as an outpatient on chair-side dental setting, that was deemed complex for the general dentist.

Dr. Minhas training and accomplishments include:

·     Oral Implantology from single Implant placement to all on X.

·     Trained in Inhalational Sedation NO2 & Conscious Moderate Sedation

·     Certification of Completion of CEREC user, CAD / CAM Dentistry using iTero, Trios, Prime scan.

·     Hands-on Phlebotomy training for PRP & PRF.

·     Certification of Level 1 Laser

·     ACLS, PALS & CPR / BLS certified
